What is the British Association of Landscape Industries?
The British Association of Landscape Industries is one of the UK’s leading trade associations for landscaping professionals. The accreditation process is designed to recognise companies that demonstrate high standards of workmanship, customer service, health and safety and business practice.
There are more than 900 accredited BALI members, representing some of the leading landscaping businesses across the country, ranging from large organisations to local traders and individual designers.
Achieving BALI accreditation isn’t simply a case of filling in some paperwork, every company is independently assessed and must meet strict industry standards before being accepted.
For our clients, it offers reassurance that House Gardens is a landscaping company that has been properly vetted and recognised for quality and professionalism.
The Association Quality Standard
The purpose of this standard is to ensure that British Association of Landscape Industries’ accredited members can demonstrate they have the necessary professional commitment, systems, skills, resources and controls in place to consistently meet relevant customer, legislative and regulatory requirements.
BALI recognises that its current and prospective members come in many shapes and sizes, and the standard has been designed to allow a business to meet the requirements in appropriate ways. The association’s skilled vetting officers work with members, rather than simply dictating how to meet the standard.
The BALI Quality Standard is broken into three key areas:
- Management responsibility
- Resource management
- Product and service delivery
